FOOD PANTRY & WARDROBE: Scheduling an appointment is still the best way to guarantee your ability to shop the Food Pantry or the Wardrobe. However, we are starting to accept WALK-INs. If the appointments are full please still come and a volunteer will let you know when/if we can get you in.
June 19, 2020:
FOOD PANTRY: We will continue to offer the drive-thru pick up through the end of June on Saturdays from 9:00am-11:00am. Beginning the week of July 5, we will be open Tuesday nights 5:00pm-6:30pm; Thursdays 1:00pm-2:30pm; and Saturdays from 8:30am-10:00am BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. To make an appointment go to the link on the Food Pantry page. No proxies are allowed.
ACADEMY: We will be adding back in our Thursday 10:00am-2:00pm session beginning June 25th making our Academy open on Wednesdays 10:00am-2:00pm & 5:00pm-7:00pm and Thursdays 10:00am-2:00pm.
WARDROBE: Open on Thursdays from 2:00pm–4:00pm BY APPOINTMENT ONLY for the month of June. Beginning the first week of July we will offer multple sessions (1st Sat, 3rd Tues, & 4th Thurs). However, since we are closed the 1st Sat of July (July 4th holiday), we will open on Saturday, July 11th. Households are limited to ONE VISIT per month, until further notice. Celebrate Recovery has resumed in person sessions starting yesterday, Thursday May 21st, and will continue to meet every Thursday from 6:30-8:30pm. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be adhered to. Please contact Laura Murphy with questions at .
Starting in the middle of June we will be offering MODIFIED Wardrobe shopping events on Thursdays that will be by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Please watch for additional updates.
No updates to current COVID operations for the Food Pantry and Academy.

Starting Tuesday May 26th, we will be adding back modified shopping on Tuesday evenings in the Food Pantry in addition to the Saturday drive thru boxed pick up. Check out the Food Pantry page for additional information.
May 4, 2020:
As we start the process of re-opening A Turning Point please note the following precautions that will be in place:
Only one person per household will be allowed in the building for services.
Upon entering we will have hand sanitizer available that must be used before using services.
We will require masks to be worn. Please bring your own if you have one, if not one will be provided for you.
Please ensure that you check in upon your arrival - this applies to both guests and volunteers.
We will sanitize each cart used between clients.
We will maintain social distancing guidelines in all program areas, including the lobby & waiting rooms.
We will do a modified re-opening of the ACADEMY beginning on Wednesday May 20th. The Academy will only be open on Wednesdays until further notice. Our goal is to have the Thursday day session available as soon as possible, and we will not have the Tuesday session until we fully re-open. Please view the Academy page for specific details on how our modified sessions will work.

The Food Pantry will continue to operate on Saturday mornings using our new drive thru boxed picked up until further notice.
We are continuing to evaluate all of our services with the mayor's guidelines and developing a plan moving forward. Stay tuned to our Facebook page and website for updates coming soon.
In light of the recent local and global concern regarding the spread of the Coronavirus, A Turning Point will be closing all regular programming (Food Pantry, Wardrobe, Academy, & Community Meals) the week of March 15th until further notice.
However, we WILL be serving guests in need of FOOD on Saturdays from 9 - 11 am by distributing pre-packed boxes in a drive thru fashion via our parking lot. Directions and guidance will be given upon arrival.
In order to prevent traffic issues, please DO NOT arrive before 8:30 am to get in line.
If you are a NEW family needing assistance, you MUST complete our New Client Registration by Thursday at 5:00 pm. Service cannot happen without this being completed 24 hours in advance.
