Do you provide gas cards?
No, we do not have the funds to provide gas cards.
Do you provide rent or utility assistance?
No, we do not.
What are community meals?
Community Meals has been reinvented! What used to be Free Hot Soup of the Northland is now A Turning Point's Community Meals. Our team serves a picnic style hot meal every Sunday at North Cross United Methodist Church.

How do I register?

What documentation is required?
We do not require any documentation to register for our services, with the exception of our Academy. To become a student in the Academy requires a photo ID.

Do you have a proxy system?
As of January 1, 2020 we no longer have a proxy system.
Are there restrictions for the Academy?
An Academy student must be post high-school graduation date to be eligible for our program.

How do I volunteer here?

We encourage families to volunteer, but children will need to be supervised by a parent. If you have questions, please contact our Program Manager, Shannon McCarthy, at smccarthy@aturningpointkc.org.
Where can I drop off donations?
We welcome donations of food, clothes, shoes, coats, and hygiene items. All undergarments and socks must be brand new. It is best to deliver food to the pantry and everything else to the admin building. Please do not leave items outside of our buildings. We ask that all clothing have hangers removed and are in bags:

Monday, Tuesday, & Thursday 10:00am-2:00pm and Wednesday 1:00pm-4:00pm
*We do NOT accept household, furniture, toys, or books...only food and items and items you can wear! We are also beginning to accept tents, sleeping bags, and blankets in great condition.
