VOLUNTEERING
A Turning Point only happens because of our fantastic volunteers!
Volunteers have a variety of opportunities to serve, with options for all ages, group & individuals, and different commitment levels.
You can contact us at 816-237-0138 if you'd like to take a tour and visit with someone about serving opportunities.

Volunteers of all ages can come help serve by assisting guests, filling orders, clean-up, and interaction with guests.
In between sessions the Food Pantry has new shipments of food unloaded and is restocked. Check out SignUp Genius for dates and times.

WARDROBE
Volunteers help guests "shop" for necessary clothing from our donated clothing supplies.
Other opportunites for volunteers that are not guest facing include sorting donations, hanging, folding, & organizing "the shop".
All ages are welcome to help.

A Turning Point Academy is an adult alternative to the GED to earn a high school diploma.
The Academy also offers life skills training classes.
Volunteers can tutor/mentor, teach a life skills class, grade papers, file, make copies, assist with technology, and much more.
